Enriched Air Nitrox???

Is breathing air with more than the 21% of oxygen that we breath here at the surface. Commonly used mixtures for diving are with 32% or 36% O2.

Advantages of Nitrox???

Due to the higher percentage of oxygen Nitrox obviously contains less nitrogen. That is while using Nitrox-tables or computer during the dive you will have a longer no decompression times and using the normal air-table the body doesn't saturate as much with nitrogen - ergo there is more safety for you.

Theory lessons and practical workshops.
Nitrox manual.
Worldwide and lifelong valid certification.

Duration:

One day.

Objective:

Learn the safe use of and dive with Enriched Air Nitrox up to 40% oxygen.
This course is mandatory to take part in a Rebreather-course, e.g. with the Dräger Atlantis/Dophin.

Preconditions:

Minimum age of 15 years.
Open Water Diver or equivalent. The Nitrox-course can be done as part of the Open Water Diver.
